Jordan F. Kennamann, a tap dancer from St. Louis, started dancing at the age of two. Jordan received her training from Gerri Stretz and Yvonne Meyer Hare and danced competitively for over 13 years, winning numerous awards as well as being recognized as an outstanding tapper. Throughout her tap career, she has danced alongside various tap masters including Dr. Jimmy Slyde, Professor Robert Reed, Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, Mike Minery, Mark Goodman and many more. After joining the St. Louis Hoofer’s Club in early 2009, Jordan traveled to multiple cities where she learned many tap traditions. Jordan has appeared on America’s Got Talent as well as summer productions at our own St. Louis Muny Opera. When Jordan is not teaching tap, she is working full time as a pediatric nurse practitioner.
